RE: Open Records request pertaining to Act 40 or Shared Services or Metropolitan

Police Department or Law Enforcement Center

June 24, 2006

Dear Sir,

On May 23,20061 filed an open records request with the City Clerk regarding any recorded material that may have been generated by your office regarding Act 40, Shared Services or a Metropolitan Police Department. As of today, June 24,20061 have had no response from you or your office. I will take this failure to respond as a denial of the request. Unless I receive a written response by July 3, 20061 will be prepared to proceed to the next step.

You received notification from the City Clerk's office on May 26,2006 that they would be providing me with a list of documents filed in their office and that they were requesting you provide items to which they don't have access.

Again, what I am requesting would be notes or minutes taken by either Mary Rajer or Susan Hart, memos, e-mail (both sent and received), tape recorded discussions taken by you one of your staff members on either personal or public equipment, phone messages or phone logs regarding the issue of the abolishment of the Sheboygan Police Department, restructuring of the Police Department or sharing services with Sheboygan County involving any law enforcement component, including staff, equipment or buildings. The timeframe involved would be from April 2005 until the present.

Sincerely, Marge Segalle
