Bonnie and Bob,

If you have what VDV is going to offer the City, I think that it would be good to share it with the aldermen before

it is announced by Nick Reed or disclosed by some former aldermen. Yesterday I heard that VDV was willing to

pay $250,000 in fill on their property if the City bought it. That was announced by Nick in the morning.

If we get bits and pieces during the next couple of days from the radio, I for one will not be happy. Too much

secrecy will lead to suspicion, especially if bits and pieces leak out to the public.

Just my thoughts,

Jim Graf.

Jim,

There are no details at this point. Regarding Van Der Vaart spending $250 K to fill in the low section of the property this is not the case. Mike Harvey has arranged with Kohler Company for them to provide the fill, engineering, transportation and construction free of charge. Van Der Vaart gets their fill, Kohler gets rid of some of their foundry sand pile, the taxpayers of Sheboygan may save some money. Van Der Vaart plans to proceed with this regardless of the location of the SPD. The only other information available at this time is that they may be willing to partition the property, something that they were not willing to do in the past.

I have not spoken to Nick Reed regarding this matter. Any commentary by him would be purely speculation.

I would be more than happy to share any new information with you should it become available. I in turn expect that you would provide me with all information available to you regarding the North 23rd Street property. "Secrecy" is not necessary, it only results in the public perceiving us as being less than ethical.

Is there any new information regarding N. 23rd Street??

Sincerely,

Bob Ryan

Thanks for your response. At this point in time there is nothing new with 23rd Street. I know that the County is expecting the offer of $504,000 as that is what was in the paper. I have the feeling that they, Adam P and William G., will reject any offer that may be less than that or have any strings attached to it.

I will keep you inform if I hear anything new. Jim G.
